Sex Offender Registry

Overview

The Hall County Sheriff's Office Sex Offender Registration and Tracking (SORT) Unit performs several duties involving registered sex offenders and sexual predators living and working in Hall County. People who are convicted of certain crimes are required to register with the Sheriff's Office of the county in which they reside or are employed.

The SORT Unit ensures that any known sex offender that lives or works in the county registers with the Sheriff's Office within the allotted time frame required by Georgia law. The SORT Unit also checks residences and employment locations of the sex offenders to ensure that they are in compliance with Georgia law.

Sex Offender searches, notifications

The Hall County Sheriff's Office uses OffenderWatch, a comprehensive registered sex offender management and community notification tool.  You may enter any address in the county and see real-time information on the publishable offenders within the specified radius of the address you enter.  You may confidentially register as many addresses in the county as you wish, and OffenderWatch will continuously monitor the addresses and send you an email alert if a new offender registers an address within one mile of any address you register.
