Community Service and Crime Prevention Unit
The mission of the Public Information and Community Services Unit is to join in partnership with the residents of Hall County to create safe communities, reduce the opportunity for crime, and to conduct outreach activities to promote strong relationships with our citizens.
The Public Information and Community Services Unit is the focal point for information and communications between the Sheriff's Office and the community. Home and business security surveys are also offered at no cost. Community Services officers are available to assist citizens with filing incident reports at the Law Enforcement Center and the north and south precincts.

Contact for More Information
For information on these or other related topics, please feel free to contact us at 770-531-6900. Additionally, a deputy is on duty Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Community Service Office located in the front lobby of the Sheriff's Office at 2859 Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville for walk-in reports and other information.
We Would love to hear from you! Fill out the contact form below if you would like to leave us feedback on the website. Additionally, if you have an event planned and wish for the Hall County Sheriff's Office to participate and add the event to our community calendar (below), let us hear about it. Oftentimes, people leave their residence without properly fastening their children/grandchildren into a child safety seat (Car Seat). We have technicians who would love to assist you with that. Send us the dates and times you have available. We will be happy to set an appointment for a car seat inspection. Finally, if your neighborhood has been considering forming a watch group, the Community Service and Crime Prevention Unit specializes in mobilizing your neighborhood. Let us know how we can help in your planning and start up. Thank you for leaving us a message!
