Attention Civil Process Servers

 

This is to notify all civil process servers who have participated in any private certification training program, or those who may be considering enrolling in such a program, that the Sheriff of Hall County, Georgia, will prohibit all privately certified process servers from serving process within Hall County, Georgia. The service of civil process within this jurisdiction is conducted by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Civil Division and any court appointed servers.

Any person who violates this subsection shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with O.C.G.A, 9-11-4.1(j) as it relates to civil process servers.
