Teen Driver/Joshua's Law Class

The Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the Hall County School District and Hall County Government, offers the Teen Driver/Joshua's Law course to provide students with the 30 hours of classroom instruction required for driver's license eligibility at age 16 in Georgia.

BECAUSE THIS CLASS IS FREE THROUGH THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND BECAUSE OF THE POPULARITY OF THE COURSE, THIS CLASS IS ONLY FOR 15, 16 OR 17 YEAR OLDS WHO NEED TO GET A DRIVER'S LICENSE.  ANY PARTICIPANT MUST ALREADY HAVE A VALID LEARNER'S PERMIT.

SIGN UP FOR ONE CLASS ONLY. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MULTIPLE CLASSES

This is a four-day class (Monday - Thursday). Your child will be required to be present from 7:45 a.m. until 4 p.m. all four days. (We only teach the required 30 hours of classroom time. We do not teach the six hours of behind the wheel.) You, as the parent, can follow the guidelines by having them drive a minimum of 40 hours, six of which need to be at night. click for more information
